The health of our guests, employees and the general public is an absolute priority in these challenging times. Therefore, the Austrian Federal Government has planned COVID-19 protective measures to slow down and stop the spread of the Coronavirus.
Gastronomy and hotels are expected to be closed until the end of February 2021.
Our hotel may only be used in exceptional cases during this period, in particular for professional purposes.
We have great news: the Auhof is open for business travelers!
The Auhof offers luxury and comfort at the same time! In addition to comfortable rooms (all with a kitchenette, espresso machine and free minibar), we also offer business travelers an underground car park.

Due to the current situation, we have adjusted our cancellation conditions for you, so you can continue planning your holiday at the Auhof with peace of mind.
Reservations up to the end of Mai 2021 can be canceled or postponed free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival.
Safe hospitality
The Auhof takes part in the “Safe Hospitality” initiative and is committed to adhering to strict safety and hygiene measures. We oblige our employees to carry out regular Covid-19 tests and safety measures are implemented that go beyond the legal obligations.
Trusted cleanliness
The Auhof was awarded the "Trusted Cleanliness" badge for compliance with the high hygiene standards in connection with COVID-19. It is an award from the world's leading guest feedback platform "TrustYou". In order to receive the “Trusted Cleanliness” badge, we had to prove how we implement the strict hygiene standards in connection with COVID-19.
Hygiene measures
The highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene standards in all hotel areas have always been a matter to us at the Auhof.
- Hand disinfection is available in all public areas as well as in the rooms
- Floor markings ensure a minimum distance of 1 meter in our hotel area
- A protective screen is installed at the reception
- In addition to hand disinfection, gloves are also provided at the breakfast buffet
- Generally increased cleaning of surfaces
- Disinfection of all laundry with a hygienic rinse
- All employees wear mouth and nose protection
- Our employees are regularly tested for Covid 19 and receive ongoing training on hygiene
- We have put up signs throughout the hotel to remind people of the rules for safe distances in public places
- We have reduced the furniture in public areas in accordance with the safety distance regulation
Before arrival
You should only start your vacation if you are in perfect health. We kindly ask you to give us your full names, address and dates of birth of all travelers prior to arrival in order to shorten the check-in time on site.
Quarantine & PCR test
Since December 19, 2020, there has been a 10-day quarantine requirement when entering from risk areas. Free testing is possible after five days of quarantine using a PCR or antigen test. If you need a PCR test, we will of course be happy to organize it for you. No quarantine is required when you visit us for work purposes. A health certificate for a negative PCR or antigen test that is not older than 72 hours is required.
The greeting
We stick with a warm “Grüß Gott” and continue to refrain from shaking hands. Please only travel if you do not have COVID-like symptoms such as cough, fever, etc.
Mouth and nose masks
When entering the hotel, mouth and nose masks are mandatory. Please wear mouth and nose masks in all public and generally accessible indoor areas of the hotel (lift, lobby, restaurant, etc.) as soon as you take a seat, e.g. in the restaurant or at the bar, the mask may be removed. We kindly ask you to bring your own masks.
Hygiene suites & apartments
We have adapted our already high hygiene standards for daily cleaning to the new standards. We have removed all information brochures, magazines, and writing utensils from the rooms. We have also replaced our bar soaps with liquid soap, and hand disinfection is available free of charge in all public areas and in the rooms. You will also find various hygiene items for single use in the rooms, you can enjoy breakfast in the room*, or we offer the delivery of food in special packaging*. *extra charge.
It is important to us that we continuously adapt all measures to the current situation.
